Privacy Policy
1. Data Controller
The controller of your personal data is Katarzyna Guzik, operating the website available at evidencedose.com. For matters relating to the protection of your personal data, contact: contact@evidencedose.com.
2. What data we collect and why
We collect your email address, which you provide voluntarily through the newsletter (mailing list) sign-up form. We process this data in order to: send a newsletter containing educational content, updates about new articles, and marketing material relating to supplements, health, and physical activity; deliver free resources (such as a guide) if you signed up for that purpose.
3. Legal basis for processing
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given at the point of newsletter sign-up. You may withdraw your consent at any time — withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
4. Recipients of the data
We share your email address with our newsletter delivery provider — MailerLite (MailerLite Limited / UAB "MailerLite", established in the European Union), which processes the data solely on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Your data is, as a rule, processed within the European Economic Area. Our newsletter provider — UAB "MailerLite", established in Lithuania (European Union) — may use sub-processors located outside the EEA (including in the United States). In such cases, data is transferred only with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR: Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) or an adequacy decision (including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, for certified entities), in accordance with the data processing agreement concluded with MailerLite.
6. Data retention
We retain your data until you withdraw your consent (unsubscribe) or request its deletion.
7. Your rights
You have the right to: access your data and obtain a copy of it; rectify (correct) your data; erase your data; restrict processing; data portability; withdraw your consent at any time; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in particular the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland), the authority competent for the controller, or the supervisory authority of your place of habitual residence within the EU/EEA.
To exercise these rights, email: contact@evidencedose.com. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter with a single click — an unsubscribe link is included in every message we send.
8. Provision of data is voluntary
Providing your email address is voluntary but necessary to receive the newsletter and free resources.
9. Profiling
Your data is not subject to automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.
10. Cookies and analytics
The website uses GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool: it does not use cookies, does not identify you personally, and does not track you across sites. Only aggregated, anonymous statistics are collected (visit counts, popular pages, traffic sources, browser type, country), so no cookie consent is required for analytics.
Independently of visit statistics, clicks on affiliate links (URLs starting with /go/) are logged server-side for commission accounting and performance statistics. We store a truncated (anonymised) IP address — the last octet is zeroed, so it does not identify a specific device — the browser user agent, the referring page, and the click timestamp. This data is not linked to any user profile.
11. Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to update this policy. The current version is always available on this page, with the last-updated date shown at the top.
